Biography

Robert J. (Bob) Cardin is Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Martin Marietta.

Before joining Martin Marietta, Bob held finance, tax and accounting leadership roles for more than 18 years. He most recently served as Chief Accounting Officer at SWM International since 2013, and served as Interim CFO for SWM International from April 2015 until October 2015. Previously, he served as Corporate Controller for Syncreon International Group, Assistant Corporate Controller and Group Controller with Dentsply International, and Division Controller and Vice President of Finance/Accounting with Collins & Aikman Automotive Products.

Bob is a Certified Public Accountant and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at the University of Michigan and his Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting at Wayne State University.
