Biography

Donald A. McCunniff is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Martin Marietta.

Mr. McCunniff rejoined the Company in September 2024. He previously served as Martin Marietta’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources from August 2011 until 2019. Mr. McCunniff has over 20 years of human resources experience. Before joining Martin Marietta, Mr. McCunniff held various senior-level human resource positions at CenturyLink, Inc., Armstrong World Industries, Inc. and Honeywell International, Inc. He began his career as a United States Army officer where he served in a variety of line and staff positions.

Mr. McCunniff is a Six Sigma black belt. He graduated from the University of North Georgia with a degree in Political Science and received a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of San Francisco.
